We're BACK!

The long-awaited vacation has come and gone, and Europe feels a million miles away. However, as we linger over our photographs, or try to decipher our hand-written notes jotted down on the bus, we remember how much we truly, utterly enjoyed this trip. The tour guide was excellent, the driver was efficient, the weather was remarkable, and the 36 tourmates were enlivening, interesting, or at least memorable. Add to that the sights and sounds of Europe, and you have a recipe for success. How we loved every day of it! We bought very few souvenirs, but the memories we bring back with us will stay a lifetime. Hopefully we will soon begin filling in the blanks on this blog - giving a day-by-day account of what we did, and what we remember of what we did, during our wonderful two-week whirlwind "European Tour 2006".
